Inspired by the Nier:Automata Anime, I stylized the shaders to see how far I could make it look like the anime itself. I wanted to test the facial Rigify controls in a “more proportionate human face”. The weights were impressively accurate! Later, I doodled an “idle” animation and here are the results

Is it good practice to learn substance painting (texturing) before 3D modeling? I'm going to learn 3D modeling later, but for now I'm excited about texturing and can't see how learning 3D
