The Blades of Chaos, Kratos's signature weapons, are a pair of chained blades that were fashioned by the then-God of War Ares, in the foulest depths of Hades, right in the pits of Tartarus, with its flames harvested from the Primordial Goddess Chaos, forged by the great Greek smith-god Hephaestus.
