Liza Koshy Joins Netflix Rom-Com 'Players', Starring Gina

Liza Koshy is coming back to Netflix.  The Work It star has signed on to a new romantic comedy titled Players. The film will follow a New York City sportswriter, played by Gina Rodriguez, who regularly devises hookup schemes with her best friend, played by Damon Wayans Jr., but who ultimately ends up falling for one of her targets, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Also appearing in the film are Kissing Booth star Joel Courtney, Augustus Prew of ’s forthcoming Lord Of The Rings prequel series, and Tom Ellis. Players will be directed by Pitch Perfect 3’s Trish Sie from a scrip by Whit Anderson. It will be produced by Marc Platt and Ryan Christians of Marc Platt Productions.
