No one can deny that VVMPYRE had an interesting 2021. Starting as a Darksynth artist that meshed Cyberpunk and horror undertones, slowly shifting into the Darkwave dancefloor commander. Perhaps nothing summarizes this more than his debut EP, Music from the Afterlife City Club, a collection of tracks that summarize this era. Tracks ranging from Synthwave with warping, experimental synths esque of Industrial (Bodies Without Blood), Darksynth with guitar and fiddle solos (And All I Could Do Was Dance), and a classic Electrogoth dancefloor closer. (Afterlife) All of these sounds are held together by VVMPYRE's signature blend of horror orchestral elements and heavy EBM drums. Inspired by the 90's Electrogoth of acts such as Midnight Configuration, Faithful Dawn, and Suspiria, the anonymous producer takes his passion for these sounds and blends them with elements of classic horror, Synthwave and a touch of Metal. The result is a debut collection of tracks that showcases the potential of VVMPYRE going forward. It only goes darker from here
