Reverse Gear Tilt Down only works on one side

didnt even notice that the teggy had this feature till i changed the passenger side mirror. however, when i put it back in the driver side it didnt work. what gives?

Anyone know as to why the passenger side mirror will not tilt while toggling reverse. Only got the car a few days ago myself so im new and dont know if there's
