Spider-Man has been a busy superhero in recent years. From tangling with Venom in Spider-Man 3, to teaming up with some of the series' most famed villains in Spider-Man: Friend of Foe, Activision has kept the boyish webslinger working overtime. This year he's back with Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, telling the story of a massive symbiote invasion of Manhattan. Players will take control of Spidey and choose to play as a good superhero or a naughty one (by switching into the Symbiote-suite). Treyarch and Shaba Games co-developed the PS3, 360, and Wii versions of the game. The PS2 and PSP versions of the game are made by Amaze and, while the story is similar, these games are strictly 2D brawlers and quite different from the next-gen versions. The DS game is also developed by Amaze and is another unique design in the exploration and adventure style of Metroid or Castlevania.
