Sunday alcohol sales on the ballot for Florence County voters

Voters in Florence County are being asked whether they approve of Sunday alcohol sales in bars and restaurants. Under the amended ordinance on the ballot, stores and gas stations would still be prohibited from selling beer and wine on Sundays. “Sunday is special,” argued Rep. Jay Jordan at the August 11th meeting. The Florence County Republican came all the way from Columbia for the meeting to make sure his constituents heard his opinion.
