Dorian cuts off North Carolina community following its US landfall

After flirting with the East Coast for nearly four days, Dorian finally made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane, inundating neighborhoods and leaving hundreds of thousands without power.
Flooding from Hurricane Dorian proved to be so severe that this bridge in Hatteras, North Carolina, was completely overwhelmed on Sept. 6. The recorder of this video said the rising waters eventually caused the bridge to 'float.'
