Minecraft-launcher doesn't start correctly, only opens a blank

Hello, I've recently installed Garuda KDE Dr460nized on my desktop. Naturally the first thing I tried was running the minecraft launcher from the AUR, but after a moment it gets stuck somewhere while it tries to update itself. I had it run for around 2h30min in that state. When I launch it with sudo, a window opens, but just shows a white screen.
