Analysis 101 help? Stockfish question - Chess Forums

ok, so i'm trying to understand exactly what's happening when analyzing a position with stockfish on my ipad, i can't find a help me on it, for example, i'm noticing on the bottom left the first number increases, so right now it says 20 < -0.2 1. what exactly does the first increasing number mean? "20"
