Chris Jessen is pictured with 5 month old Panda cow Ben, on the left, and a micro miniature mixed breed cow named Luna on the right. Luna is 6 weeks old. Miniature breeds are between 34-44 inches in height. Chris Jessen is raising a rare miniature Panda cow, the result of years of specialized breeding to achieve the unusual markings on the cow. The cow has the same markings of the giant pandas found in China with a white stripe down the middle, black on both ends and a white face. He has raised several of these cows on his personal farm Loveable LIttle Ones. They sell for about $35,000. He is auctioning off the most recent offspring, 5 month old Ben. He hopes to get a top price for the miniature cow because he is planning on sending the proceeds to helping to preserve Panda bears in China by donating the money to Pandas International.
